Metronidazole 400mg is an antimicrobial medicine used to treat certain bacterial and parasitic infections, including some intestinal, dental, vaginal and other infections.

Take orally with water, with or after food, exactly as prescribed. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

• Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after the last dose. May cause nausea, stomach upset or a metallic taste. Do not use if allergic to metronidazole.
