Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections, including certain respiratory, ear, skin and sexually transmitted infections.

Take orally with water, exactly as prescribed by a doctor. Complete the full course even if you feel better.

• Do not use if allergic to macrolide antibiotics. May cause nausea, diarrhoea or stomach upset. Inform your doctor if you have liver problems or a history of heart rhythm problems.
